Hearthstone’s Approach

At Hearthstone Therapy Services our approach to mental and emotional health is based on five core values. The first of these is an absolute belief in the intrinsic value of, and unconditional positive regard for, every person irrespective of: age, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, socioeconomic status, physical, or mental ability. The second is Hearthstone’s belief that it is imperative to recognize that achieving mental and emotional health is one of the key factors to finding happiness and fulfillment in life. The third is that anyone can achieve an optimum state of mental and emotional health regardless of environmental influences or previous traumatic experiences, and that negative life experiences and personal struggles need never define who we are nor limit our human potential for growth. The fourth belief is that every human being is genuinely unique as no two people in the world have the same biological make-up, personality, and life experiences; consequently, their therapy plan should be as unique as they are. It is because of these beliefs that Hearthstone therapists employ an eclectic approach to mental health by working with clients to create a personalized healing journey that will holistically address their biological, psychological, and sociological, facets of health and wellness. Our final belief is an ongoing commitment to excellence, honesty, and integrity in everything that we do and in all our dealings with those whose lives we touch.

All you need is a internet capable device that has a microphone, video capability, and a stable internet connection such as a cell phone, laptop, tablet, or desktop computer, and a private place where you will not be overheard by others.

Q. What if I am uncomfortable being seen on video?

Through our online platform you have the option of audio sessions if you are uncomfortable with video. We want you to be comfortable so you can get the most out of your therapy sessions.
